Gemstone Luck Spell

Found this but no author was given. I like how you write down and store the energy of good events in your life.

What you'll need:

* 1 small wooden box with a lid

* 3 small gem stones (I find aventurine, amethyst, and peridot work best for good luck.)

* A small piece of paper

* A green pen

* 1 green candle

* Frankincense (incense)

Do this spell when the moon is waxing. (Getting bigger.)

STEP 1: Prepare your altar, and cast a circle.

STEP 2: Meditate for a few minutes to still your mind. Close your eyes and sit at your altar for this.

STEP 3: Place your hands over the wooden box, and say:

"By the powers of the Earth,

By the powers of the Air

By the powers of the Fire

By the powers of the Water,

I empower this spellbox.

This will assist me in my spells

So mote it be."

STEP 4: Light the Green candle

STEP 5: Light the incense

STEP 6: Write a short paragraph about a happy event that occured in your life.

STEP 7: Roll up the paper and gently place it in the box.

STEP 8: Visualize the experience you wrote on the paper... re-living your joy at the time that it

occurred.

STEP 9: Hold each gemstone in your hand one by one and say:

" Powers and Energies

send good luck my way."

STEP 10: Place each gemstone into the wooden box.

STEP 11: Snuff out the green candle.

STEP 12: Repeat steps 4-11 for 7 days.

STEP 13: At the end of the 7th day...after you've done stpes 4-11... open up the wooden box and allow it to stay open for exactly one hour. This will release the energy you have built up inside the box.

STEP 14: Carry the gemstones with you any time you want to attract some good luck. Better yet, find a small leather pouch to keep them in, and carry this on your person.

Enjoy...and "may luck be with you... always!"

Eight Chants for Good Luck

1. On this sheet my wish be told

No aspect of my heart withhold

For this I need quick fruition

So that my life may match my vision.

Casting this spell requires some preparation. You need to write your wish on a small piece of paper, hold it folded in your hand and then visualize your wish coming true. Thereafter, you should chant the above spell and burn the paper.

2. Spirit, Earth, Air, Water, and Fire

Come to me and give me what I desire

Waves of luck fall down on me and complete my wishes effortlessly

May this spell take toll for one whole day and after midnight strikes, may it go away

As I will, so mote it be.

This spell is believed to make a 24 hour period lucky and obstacle free for you. Before casting this spell, go into a meditative state and empty you mind of all thoughts.

3. I summon earth, fire, water, and air

To protect me with the strength of a bear

Let me be healthy

Let me be wealthy

Lady luck shine your light upon me

So shall it be.

This good luck spell is believed to be very effective in attracting good fortune no matter where you go. For best results, cast this spell under a full moon and light three green candles placed as a triangle in front of you before casting this spell.

4. Happiness and glee,

Make their anger flee.

Long-lasting and forever,

Make their happiness ever so clever.

Everlasting and joyful,

This spell will last.

Make their happiness come up fast.

This is one of the best and most beneficent spells for good luck for others. This spell wishes for the beneficiary to be freed of anger and to be endowed with good luck, happiness and long-lasting joy. For best results, get a picture of the person for whom you are making this wish and set it down in front of you. Light a blue candle in front of it. Close your eyes and visualize that person in a happy state (for instance, imagine that person is laughing or enjoying a moment of contentment). Cast the spell once you've clearly visualized the picture.

5. Bad luck turn and bad luck flee.

Good luck fortune come to me.

While casting this spell, throw a pinch of salt over your left shoulder three times for every time you chant these lines.

6. Money Money come to me,

As I will so mote it be.

This is one of the simplest good luck money spells. Before casting this spell, dust your palms with a teaspoon full of powdered cinnamon, a teaspoonful of powdered ginger and a teaspoonful of powdered basil and say the amount of money you need aloud, while rubbing your hands fast against each other.

7. Money Money

Shower over me

Without bad luck

Without flat broke

Money Money

All over me with

Money luck empower me.

This is supposed to be a very powerful money spell and you need no preparation, other than a clear mind, good intentions and an unfaltering voice, to cast it!

8. Aphrodite goddess of love hear my plead

Help me find the man/woman I need.

Please goddess let these petals find their way,

So that one day,

My soulmate can find me,

And to my heart he/she will be the key,

This is my will

So mote it be.

This is a love spell that, when cast, will help you find true love if you're one of those who haven't got lucky in love yet. Before casting this spell, you will need to light a red and a pink candle and write down the qualities you want in your mate on a piece of paper. Keep a bowl of red and pink rose petals beside you. After you've chanted till " the man/woman I need", say out what you've written down aloud and then proceed to scatter the rose petals outside while continuing with the rest of the chant.

Boji Stones

I have a pair of Boji Stones, I found them to be very helpful in feeling more peaceful and centered. When I held them in my hand I could definetly feel the energy flowing, a tingly feeling in my hands.  I found that not everyone 'feels' something when they hold them but does seem to walk away feeling more balanced.

The Boji Stone is as old as the earth. The formation of the stones and the creation of the earth were simultaneous thus making the stones millions of years old. They are primarily made up of pyrite, which gives them their blackish-brown color and are flat and spherical in shape. There have also been studies showing palladium in the stones. Boji Stones are derived from only place in the United States at Smoky Hill Chalk Member of the Niobrara Formation in Gove County, Kansas.

Boji Stones are separated as male and female stones and some may even have androgynous qualities. Female stones are smooth and outnumber the male stones. Male stones are uneven and sharp with the androgynous stones exhibiting qualities such as points and rough patterns along the surface. Boji Stones are small in size compared to other minerals ranging from the size of a dime to the size of a golf ball. The largest faceted stone to date is less than three carats in weight.

Boji Stones are most effective when they are used as a pair of female and male stones. Androgynous stones however can be used alone because their energy is equal to the energy of a pair of male and female stones. Boji Stones are effective when used in the healing of physical conditions but they are more powerful when used for their metaphysical properties.

Metaphysical Properties of Boji Stones

-Primarily used to balance and align ones energy field.

-They aid in moving energy from the subtle body to the physical body.

-Help to recharge the aura and fill empty space with positive energy.

-Promote the removal of blockages to allow healing to take place.

-Facilitate the balancing of the male and female energies in the body.

-Assist in aligning all of the chakras from the crown chakra to the root chakra.

-Improve the body's electrical structure by creating an electromagnetic field around it.

-Used to facilitate clarity in the brain. This can increase the functioning of the brain by up to six percent and also helps to recover short and long term memory.

Healing Properties of Boji Stones

-Used to promote the regeneration of cellular tissue that has been damaged.

Azurite

Was at the flea mkt this morning and got a little box full of Azurite for just a few dollars so I was interested in some of the more magickal properties assoiciated with Azurite. Found this info on a site called Crystal Vaults, don't know who the writer/author is.

Introduction to the Meaning and Uses of Azurite

No crystal embodies the pure Blue Ray quite like Azurite. The rich vibrancy of its dark-blue energy resonates to the exact frequency of the Third-Eye Chakra, and has been guiding souls to enlightenment since the earliest civilizations began. [Simmons, 63][Hall, 77]

To the inhabitants of Atlantis and the early Egyptians, Azurite was a most potent psychic stone and shrouded in mystery; its secrets known only to the highest priests and priestesses. It was called the Stone of Heaven by the ancient Chinese who believed it to open celestial gateways, and was revered by Greeks and Romans for its visionary insights and healing powers. For the Mayans, Azurite inspired the mystical self and facilitated the transfer of wisdom and knowledge via thought, while Native Americans used this sacred stone to contact their spiritual Indian guide, feel the presence and understand the message. [www.luckygemstones.com][Eason, 217][Mella, 74][Melody, 140]

For modern practitioners, Azurite’s metaphysical properties still mirror its legacy powers, clearing away tension and confusion, and opening the mind to new perspectives. This crystal stimulates the intellect, awakening the development of psychic and intuitive abilities, and brings inner vision into alignment with spiritual guidance. It may be used for the enhancement of dreams, entering a meditative or channeling state, and enables out of body journeys to take place safely. Azurite is beneficial in exploring past or alternate lives, and its ability to clear the Throat Chakra allows for precise verbalization recalled from these experiences. [Hall, 77][Simmons, 63][Ahsian, 64][Melody, 139]

Azurite is a soft stone, named for its deep “azure blue” color. It is a copper carbonate mineral found in the upper oxidized portions of copper ore formed in masses, nodules, tabular or prismatic crystals, sometimes with a vitreous luster. The saturated color ranges from bright to deep blue into shades of indigo, and may contain streaks of light blue. It has been ground into pigment for paint and used as a dye for fabric for thousands of years, [Mella, 74][Eason, 217][Melody, 139][www.joellessacredgrove.com][www.webexhibits.org]

Azurite is often found in nature mixed with Malachite, another copper carbonate mineral, this one with a bright green color. Together, in polished form, they resemble Mother Earth and carry not only their individual properties, but a powerful blend of healing energies.

Azurite-Malachite is an exceptional conductor of energy, bringing a grounded, more integrated process in healing physical dis-ease. The blue ray penetrates and moves energy, calming stress levels within the system while the green ray facilitates a deep healing force. It may also be used to activate the Third Eye in cleansing the subconscious of emotionally charged thoughts or negative feelings, and restoring a higher and clearer mental state. It assists in dissolving egocentric traits, dispelling conceit, arrogance and vanity, and instills a willingness toward flexibility and individuality based on a universal connection to “All.” Azurite-Malachite’s combination of energies is highly conducive to meditation by allowing one to go deep within the self, without fear, in order to be sustained, absolved, and reborn into the light, completely aware of the genesis at all times. [Raphaell, 146-147][Hall, 78][Melody, 141-142]
Azurite Uses and Purposes :

Azurite tempers the mind; it releases stress and confusion, and alleviates worry, indecision, and thoughts that linger in the back of the consciousness. To restore balance and control over emotions and reactions, simply hold the crystal and ask to have the troublesome thoughts evaporate. It is a rubbing stone that prefers to be touched to release its energies, so when wearing or carrying Azurite, remember to rub it often. It is a rubbing stone that prefers to be touched to release its energies, so when wearing or carrying Azurite, remember to rub it often. [Mella, 74][Melody, 140]

Azurite is a stone for connecting with sacred powers through religious music, such as Gregorian or Buddhist chants, choral music and hymns; also for healing with sound, especially using the drums, didgeridoo, pipes or the voice. [Eason, 217]

The energy of Azurite is highly effective for use as a pendulum and in radionic analysis. It assists psychics, mediums, channels, or other Light workers in improving the accuracy of their interpretations and helping to maintain objectivity. [Melody, 141][Ahsian, 64]
Azurite stimulates all the mind centers, nourishing a keen interest in life, one’s function in society, and discovering new commonalities and links within our world. It encourages the study of new and challenging subjects, not only for school or college students, but for adults trying to fit study in with other commitments, and for “students of life” over-fifty or in retirement. Azurite enhances focus and concentration, memorization and retention of information.[Simmons, 63][Eason, 217]

An excellent crystal for examinations, interviews, presentations, or negotiations, Azurite also fortifies long-term career plans, especially in large or very structured organizations. It is particularly beneficial for careers in all governmental departments, museums, libraries and universities. [Eason, 217][Ahsian, 64]

Azurite is a good crystal for older people who live alone or in sheltered accommodations to maintain their independence, mental alertness and physical health. [Eason, 217]

Azurite Physical Healing Energy :

Azurite is useful in treatments for spinal alignment and disorders of the vertebrae, rib-cage and small bones, particularly those which are malformed. It may also be beneficial in treating arthritis and joint problems, for detoxification, and issues of the kidneys, gallbladder, spleen and liver. It is thought to be good for healthy skin and teeth, and to encourage the development of an embryo in the womb. [Melody, 141][Hall, 78][Eason, 217]

Azurite aids circulation and oxygenating the blood, and works at a cellular level to restore any blockage or damage to the brain. This is a good stone for Alzheimer’s, dementia and other degenerative brain-related disorders, as well as aging. [Melody, 141][Hall, 78][Eason, 217] Azurite may also soothe migraines, lessen tinnitus, and balance vertigo. [Ahsian, 64] It is also reported to improve reflex actions. [Gienger, 18]

Azurite Emotional Healing Energy:

Azurite cleanses and strengthens the emotional body, releasing stress and worry, and overcoming grief and sadness. It brings a healing light into consciousness allowing it to be infused into thoughts, feelings, words and action. It also reveals fears and phobias for what they are and provides an understanding of why they occurred in the first place. [Hall, 78][Raphaell, 137-138]

Azurite lends the courage to overcome negative patterns of behavior stemming from insecurity and fear. It helps those who are deceptive or lie habitually to be more clear and truthful to themselves and to others. It calms those who talk too much out of nervousness, and encourages those who hold back from self-expression to verbalize their thoughts and feelings. [Ahsian, 64][Hall, 78]

Azurite is excellent for overcoming an inferiority complex, living only to please others, and in overcoming domestic bullying by one’s children, partner, parents, or friends who always know best. Azurite lessens tensions between different generations when sharing a home, especially when there are three or more generations, or relations involved in step-parenting. [Eason, 217]

Azurite Chakra Healing and Balancing Energies :

Azurite’s deep blue energy stimulates the Third Eye Chakra in awakening the psychic and intuitive self, and in opening the mind to spiritual guidance. It provides insight into all areas of our lives. It aligns the chakras and attunes the physical body to the ethereal, dissolving blockages throughout the system. The unimpaired flow of energy allows for increased communication and verbalization through the Throat Chakra. [Melody, 139-140][Hall, 77]
The Brow Chakra, also called the Third Eye, is the center of our perception and command. It directs our sight and everyday awareness of the world. Our consciousness is located here, and we relate to ourselves through this chakra. When the Brow Chakra is in balance our thoughts and internal communications within ourselves are healthy and vibrant. We are open to new ideas, dreams, and visions, and can control the flow of energy within all the chakras. The dark blue/purple crystals of indigo are used to treat imbalances of the Brow Chakra. It is a quiet color, one of mystery and wisdom and judgment.

The Throat Chakra is the voice of the body and is, in essence, a pressure valve that allows energy from the other chakras to be expressed. If it is blocked, or out of balance, it can affect the health of the other chakras. When the Throat Chakra is in balance and open, it allows for the expression of what we think and what we feel. We can communicate our ideas, beliefs, and emotions, bringing our personal truth out into the world. We have an easy flow of energy within the body and spirit. The energy that springs upward from the lower chakras can continue its path enabling free expression and natural release. Blue crystal energy unblocks and balances the Throat Chakra. Darker shades of blue encourage the power of truth, while lighter shades carry the power of flexibility, relaxation, and balance.
Azurite Spiritual Energy:

Azurite inspires the search for truth in one’s personal reality by challenging the examination and letting go of old programmed belief systems, and expanding one’s awareness to a deeper understanding of life. Azurite’s vibrant blue energy has the ability to move subconscious thought into the conscious mind to be reviewed and tested for truth, a search that reveals one’s true motives in spiritual connection and whether they are for the highest good of all beings and not for personal gain or ego fulfillment. Azurite also allows one to sense the truth in what others would have us believe and protects one from being misled. [Raphaell, 137-138][Hall, 77-78][Ahsian, 64]

Azurite Color Energy:

Azurite carries the pure Blue ray of influence, the color energy of the sky. It marks the beginning of life and emotion. Blue crystals bring trust, faith, patience, and respect, lending the focus we need to become more sincere, act more responsibly, and become more trustworthy. Lighter blue crystals help us accept the life we have, develop patience, reconcile differences, or seek forgiveness. They’re excellent for recovery efforts from addictions or destructive patterns, aid in curbing tempers, and help us become more dependable and cheerful. Lighter blue crystals also assist in dealing with grief, letting go of the past, and curing guilt. Dark blue talismans enhance the respect and compassion we have within ourselves. They teach us humanity, discretion, and honor, and encourage us to act more charitably and focus our efforts on service to others.

Azurite in shades of Indigo combines the intuition of the violet ray with the trust of the pure blue ray. It brings wisdom, truth, dignity and spiritual mastery. A stone of judgment and long life, it promotes introspection and can result in profound wisdom when used well. Dark indigo crystals provide honesty and are especially good for religious and spiritual journeys, while light indigo crystals connect us to the natural world and improve our appreciation of others.

Meditation with Azurite :

Azurite is highly conducive for meditation and relaxation, allowing one to easily enter the void of the “no-mind” state. It lets one travel deep within the inner being, and to maintain the depth for spiritual guidance or to explore past or alternate lives in order to recover information and knowledge from those lifetimes. [Melody, 141][Hall, 77][Ahsian, 64]

Azurite-Malachite in its natural state is an excellent meditative aid to connect with Mother Earth. Simply hold a crystal in each hand and sit quietly on the ground for a few minutes to provide an awareness and appreciation of the earth as a living organism upon which we are totally dependent.

Azurite Divination:

The divinatory meaning of Azurite: Look to the long-term advantages and not immediate gain or results. [Eason, 217]

 Azurite Goddess Crystals:

Azurite honors Athena, the Greek Goddess of War and Wisdom. She is always depicted in armor and is known as a skilled fighter and strategist, and for her superb logic and intellect. Azurite also honors Juterna, the Roman Goddess of Brooks and Ponds.

Azurite crystals of indigo honor Sophia, Goddess of Wisdom and contradiction personified. She is the story of being lost then regained, the wisdom of understanding, doubting, and spiritual exploration without dogma.

Azurite-Malachite honors Isis, the Egyptian Goddess of Life and most important goddess of Egyptian mythology. She is widely honored as a Goddess that brings the power of the divine feminine. Malachite and Azurite bring together the green of the earth and the blue of the sky, as Isis is the daughter of Earth and Sky.

Birthstones:

There are several ways to find an appropriate birthstone. The traditional one is listed first. These are from the popular lists that most people are familiar with. The second way is to find your natural birthstone by the color wheel of life. You can click on the Natural Birthstone graphic below to learn more. Finally many people use the traditional stones of the Zodiac. In this section you will find information on all three approaches. Azurite is not a traditional birthstone.

Azurite Natural Birthstone. :

Azurite which is blue in color is one of the natural birthstones of those born as the world awaits the vernal equinox and spring (February 19 - March 19). Azurite Talismans and Amulets

Azurite is a Guardian Builder crystal. In the spiritual world, Guardian crystals have special uses. They serve to guard your beliefs against doubt. A Guardian crystal can help you keep true to your ideals and cherished beliefs, reinforcing your strength of character. The Guardian crystals can also protect your spirits during trying and difficult times. They can be very effective in aiding your efforts to maintain your disposition, sense of humor, and respect for others.

Combined with the Earth Power of a Builder, these crystals are perfect aids in building up wealth or improving your lot in life, both materially and spiritually. They help in development efforts, in learning new skills and knowledge, and in building new relationships.

Azurite Feng Shui:

Azurite utilizes Water energy, the energy of stillness, quiet strength, and purification. It embodies potentialities unrealized. It is yielding, formless, yet powerful. The Water element brings power of regeneration and rebirth. It is the energy of the circle of life. Use blue crystals to enhance any space that you use for repose, calm reflection, or prayer. Water energy is traditionally associated with the North area of a home or room. It is associated with the Career and Life Path area, its flowing energy assuring a balance of energy as your life unfolds and flows.

Azurite in Ancient Lore and Legend :

Legends claim Azurite to be one of the most powerful healing stones in Atlantis where its psychic powers were so potent the secrets to its use were known only to priests. It became so shrouded in mystery many of its secrets are now thought to be lost. [www.joellessacredgrove.com][www.luckygemstones.com]

In ancient Egypt, Azurite was valued by high priests and priestesses to raise their awareness to a god-conscious state, using the pigment to paint the protective eye of Horus, the young sky god, on their foreheads. Today Azurite is believed to serve a similar purpose, but is more grounded in focus, helping to realize our own inner source of light in creating heaven on earth. [Raphaell, 137][Eason, 217]

Ancient Romans, as well the Egyptians, used Azurite for greater insight, for visionary powers, and particularly for hypnosis. [Mella, 74] Called Caeruleum by the ancient Greeks, Azurite was used in healing ceremonies. For thousands of years this brilliant blue stone was ground and used as a dye for paints and fabrics. In many civilizations, it was considered a symbol of status. [www.joellessacredgrove.com][Melody, 140]

The ancient Chinese called Azurite the Stone of Heaven believing it opened celestial gateways. [Eason, 217]

The Mayans used Azurite to stimulate and inspire the psychic and mystical self, and to facilitate the transfer of information, knowledge and wisdom via thought. [Melody, 140]

Birthday Wishes, Spells and Rituals

So today is my best friend Dawn's birthday so my thoughts are on birthdays, hers and in general. Very hard to be half the world away from one of the people you love best on the planet. As a consequence I went looking for some magickal things to do on one's birthday. Found a little lore, a spell that involves plants n paper over and over and some other interesting stuff. Hope you like it.

Info and Spell by Ranna:

Many of you will be pleased to find out that the “Happy Birthday” term is pagan in nature. Pagans of times past asked that the God or Goddess give the birthday person good luck. During the times, things changed and people don’t know why they wish another happy birthday.

Even when we blow out the candles we are following a preChristian tradition brought to us by the Greeks. In this tradition on the 6th day of the month the Goddess of the hunt’s birthday was celebrated. The ancient Greeks celebrated the birthday on the 6th day of every month with a sweet cake made with honey and topped with burning candles.

When they blew out the candles the people would make wishes to the Goddess. Well… who knew? Also thanks to Ranna for this spell. This wish spell is to be done on the day of your birthday. This spell requires the purchase of a new plant (preferably your birthday flower) but if the flower wont be able to grow in your climate or you can’t purchase one find a young tree growing naturally.

What You’ll Need:

■Your Birthday! (This is a Birthday Wish Spell!)

■Your Birthday Flower (a seedling is best)

■1/4 of a sheet of paper and a Pen (with ink in your favorite color)

■Your Birthday Stone

Hold the stone in your power hand charging it with energy. Write your wish on a piece of paper. You can write up to three wishes onto your paper, but I think one is best. If you write one wish fold the paper once, if you make three wishes fold the pYou will need the following items for this spell:

This spell purports to be able to give any mortal their wish come true. Will have to try it and see if that is so.

What you need:

1 mortal It has to be the mortals birthday.

1 piece of paper.

1 pen.

1 belonging of the mortal.

chalk

Casting Instructions for 'Birthday Wish Spell':

draw a star on the ground with the chalk. then tell the mortal to write his/her wish on the piece of paper. place the paper and the belonging to the mortal in the star. then chant at least 10 times.

" This mortal's wish needs to come true. Birthday wishes one and all. Make it true so mote it be" aper three times. Bury the paper into your plant, as the plant grows so will the energies in order to manifest your birthday wish.     Many variations on candle chant spells. Liked this little chant, " the candles are lit, now grant my wish'. direct and to the point.

Banishing Negativity

So I am involved in a job hunt and at the same time trying to figure out a way to deal with my very dysfunctional family. Neither is going well at the moment. So this week I have been trying to rid my life of negativity. Both in my home and in me. I have cleaned, smudged, spritzed banishing water and laid sea salt across doors/openings. Here are a few more things I am going to try. Thought maybe you all might be interested also.

BANISHING NEGATIVITY

A Ritual for the Dark Moon

Begin by setting up your altar as you normally do for ritual, making sure you have a black candle and wine or water in your chalice in addition to anything else you use. You will also need a cleansing, purifying incense and a censer or some kind of container which can be carried around your home. It is best to set your altar on the floor for this rite, but you may do it however you feel most comfortable. Cast your circle as you normally do. When you are through, kneel before your altar and light the black candle. With your arms held, palms upward, at your sides, call Hecate by saying three times:

"Hecate, beautiful Crone of Night

I call you here to put things right.

Transform the negative thought and pain

And help my life be whole again."

Close your eyes. When you feel the presence of Hecate and know she is there to help you, open your eyes. Bow your head to her to show your reverence, and then take the chalice, saying:

"Lady of the Dark Moon, Share with me this wine.

Bring your protection to Flood this life of mine.

May the waters of your eternal womb Bring change most divine."

Sip a small amount of the wine (or water), envisioning it as liquid energy, flowing to effect a positive change within and outside of you. Leave the rest as an offering to Hecate. Light the purifying incense in the censer, cut a door in the Circle, and, beginning in the eastern-most corner of your home, smudge your home, going clockwise. Go into every closet, the bathroom, and the garage - make sure your entire house is smudged. As you go, chant:

"Negativity be gone."

Come back into the Circle and visualize your entire house and yard bathed in a peaceful blue light. Since you have created a void by banishing the negativity, you will need to fill that void. Ask that good, protective spirits come into your home and that positive energies replace the negative ones that have just been banished. This is an important step, because if you don't fill the void with something good, the negativity will come right back.

Sometimes during such a ritual, I take one large and one small black stone and charge them to keep away negativity. I promise Hecate that the large one will remain in a prominent place in my house and that I will keep the small one with me at all times. Thank Hecate. Meditate if you wish, visualizing your life free from negative happenings and feelings and full of love, prosperity, and happiness. Feel how She has changed your home and your life. Close the Circle and know that it is done.

The above from: Spell Cabinet.

Saw what seemed like an incomplete spell/ritual where you place an egg in your bath water, visualizing all of the negativity draining from you into the egg. Recommended leaving egg in bath water until all water had drained but no instructions on what to do with egg after. Thinking of doing this while cleansing myself with sea salt, letting bath drain and then burying or placing in garbage the new container, the egg, of my negative energy.

This is a very simple banishing spell used for negativity.

Ingredients:

Large white candle, I usually use a pillar style

4 black candles, any size will do as long as they are smaller than white candle

powdered sage

Essential oil of choice-I would use rosemary oil of clary sage

Set up your four candles, one in each direction with your pillar candle in the middle. Take small amounts of oil and dress your candle, I place a few drops of oil in my left palm and swirl the candles in my hand, annointing them with oil. As you do this, visualize peaceful, tranquil thoughts, or if here is a certain situation you have in mind picture it resolved. You may chant if you like, Once all candles are dressed, light each of the black ones, leaving the white for last. Sit back and focus on the flames, see those black candles absorbing negativity and canceling it out of your life. Every now and then take a small pinch of the powdered sage and sprinkle onto each of the candles, this adds protection as well as banishes negativity.

This spell is great for beginners to candle magick, its not very involved and is easy to perform. Visusalizationis the key, if you really want to get serious you may write a rhyme madeof a few lines that is specific to your situation, chant as you focus and sprinkle.

Simple Things to Do to Increase Money Flow and Prosperity

Found this cool little list of simple things you can do to increase cash flow ...sometimes, the most absurd and smallest practices seem to work better than a ritual that you have to make into big dramatic moment. Someof these I have heard of but others not. Going to try all of them just because they sound so fun. Especially the one where you bury coins in a play ground. Though I will have to wait till it gets warmer.

* Every time you see a coin on the floor you are to stomp on it and go 'Money on the floor, money on the door!' Then pick it up and put it in your wallet.

* Always keep a bowl of small change, (foreign or odd coins are best) in a bowl by your front door. Antique or old keys also bring money too.

* Buy a jade plant. This is that small dwarf like plant with the big fleshy leaves. Put it by the front door, or in the northeast corner of your home... it also is helpful in the office. Keep the leaves clean and free from dust.

* Write a cheque to yourself for the total amount of money you need and the date you need it by ...It helps if you use gold pen and make the cheque look as official as possible. It is also good to anoint the cheque with Money Drawing Oil, which can be bought commercially, or if you don't have that -- bergamot, vetivert, cinnamon or orange oil. Then fold the check eight times and put it in a dark place. This is an especially good one to do at New Year's, on special holidays or your birthday.

* Make a money tree. This is done usually at Christmas ... but you could do it any time of the year. You find an old tree branch, which looks relatively like the body of a small tree and you actually attach money to it with clothespins. The idea is that whatever you attach is worth ten times as much. For instance if you attach a five dollar bill, it actually represents five hundred dollars. Don't have any money? You can use monopoly money or even attach green slips of paper with the amounts written on it.

* Short on cash? A quick fix is to buy a head of iceberg lettuce, sprinkle it with olive oil and salt, and eat the whole thing raw. Each time you take a mouthful, you think about all the green you need coming to you. All three ingredients represent security, money and stability.

* Keep little pots of rosemary, sage, parsley, thyme and basil at your front door or on windowsill. These herbs are thought to draw money to you... as long as they are kept healthy and alive.

* Make a God Box. Find a beautiful box, any size will do...but just make sure you really like the box. Decorate it with images that you really like, and that will represent how serene you will feel once you are out of debt. I made a little gold one and put stars on it. (Actually this is a great project for you if you have kids because the God Box can be used for other requests besides money.) Make a little slit in the top, so it becomes like a suggestion box. If you find yourself in need, you write your request on a piece of paper and drop it in the box. I think this works because once you write it on the piece of paper, it causes you to detach from anxiety about the matter or its outcome because you are giving your problem to a higher power to take care of.

* Ok, this one is my favorite, because it is just so fun and seems like it is filled with joy in the doing  Fill your pockets with all the shiny spare change you have ...then, at night, preferably when the Moon is going from its New to Full phase, you sneak out to the playground and hide the coins at the bottom of the slide, under the swing set, in the sandbox...in the wading pool...anywhere where a delighted child might possibly find the coin. Don't let anyone see you do this. It is supposed to be a secret. This practice plays with the laws of circulating prosperity and somehow, I think, that the child's surprise and delight somehow becomes your own, in your own life, thanks to the benevolent cosmic law that says that what you put out comes back to you tenfold...a found coin is such a treasure to a small child, maybe the Universe will bring you a treasure as well.

I think this may be by someone named Sam Stevens

Simple Spells to Lift the Spirit

I apologize for the long gaps in publishing posts. Many reasons, none interesting enough to spell out unless you are needing help to get some sleep. So after a very disturbing dream about a very dear friend I am/was looking for simple spells to lift their spirit and hopefully mine also at the same time. These are not my spells and I will try to give credit where credit is due if I know who to give it to. Thanks for all the peeks at this blog and for those of you who follow it.

 Depression/Stressed Spirit Spell:
Everyone knows someone who is or has been depressed or really stressed out so make time in your magickal & social life for them.

Give them a helping hand by writing this on paper and then burning it to release the magick:

"Magick Moon burning bright,

Let mine will be done this night.

Answer now my Pagan Spell,

Let all with (name) now be well."

Earth, Wind, Fire, and Sea,

As I Say, So Mote It Be!''

A Simple Spell to Break Negativity
By Silver Ravenwolf

Put a birthday candle in a cup of dirt, light it, put it out, and break it. Throw the burned half away. Relight the remaining candle and say:

"All negativity around me is broken.

I am filled with the loving light of the universe."

When the candle has finished burning, throw out the dirt

To Banish Stress and Depression :
Needed:

A black stone

A candle for the Goddess and God

To be by a stream or brook (any body of running water)

Go to the place of water and sit, light the candles.

Sit with the stone in your right hand. Think of all the

things that are making you depressed and stressed. Sending

all thought to the stone. When you feel it all leave your

body and enter the stone, cast the stone into the water and chant:

“I cast you out

Let the bad wash away

Let me be filled with

Peace and harmony.”

Sit for a moment and feel the energy that you now have and how

wonderful you feel. Thank the Goddess and God for their help.

Blow out their candles and go home, or stay for a while.

I have seen this spell in many places, with little variation. I think one of the key ingredients is the running moving water. Did something similiar but threw the stone into a lake. Have to admit really did not feel the release of negative energy I was hoping for. I used a lake because it was the nearest natural water source to my home but next time will most defintely be using a natural 'running' water source.
